Let's go for a walk to a place you find familiar and listen to it differently...

Welcome to Amplifying The Map.
A chance to rediscover the familiar territory of Cannon Hill Park and be introduced to the new Midlands Arts Centre.

Artists Kate Chapman, Charlotte Goodwin and Nina West have been working with people who live, work and play in Cannon Hill Park to create an original and inventive series of audio walks which place you, the listener at the centre of each story. Following mac's opening weekend you will be able to download these free audio walks from the mac website.

There are three walks to choose from and you will find details of each walk below. You can search the interactive map to look closely at all three routes. When you have decided which walk you'd like to go on, simply download the map for you walk and then download all the audio tracks for your walk. You can then transfer these tracks to your phone or MP3 player. When you get to the park simply go to the first location on your walk and play the first track. Further instructions will be given to you in each track.
